I cofounded a startup called Sealed, with the intend
to make buying and selling of used electronic
devices more reliable by checking the devices and
shipping them directly to the buyer.
For the buyer, this meant that he could be
sure to receive a device in the condition and
functionality that he was promised, and the seller
was assisted in selling, since we would handle
photographing, describing, packaging and shipping of
the device.
My contribution included the creation of an
early interface for the seller, to select and send
their device to us, and an internal interface for
testing and handling of received devices.
A simple One-Page Website to explain the service. We switched to a different design quite early in the process (it still contains placeholder text), here's the wireframe for it. I included this version, since it's en par with design scheme of the other interfaces.
To enable our users to create orders, we came up with this addition to our website. Besides designing, animating and developing it on the client side, I also connected it to a MongoDB database, so we could receive information on the orders to access it from our backend interface.
Being able to process orders without getting them mixed up was crucial to our service from the beginning. And since our product was the testing of devices at it's core, we decided to design and build our own internal interface optimised for the iPad to manage orders, conduct tests and upload images of the tested devices. While my colleagues took on the test design, I designed and developed this interface with Meteor and connected it to another internal MongoDB database.
